Abstract
The Contemporary China Research Centre of Hong Kong Shue Yan University and the Asian Studies Association of Hong Kong co-organised – ” The Seventh Annual Conference of The Asian Studies Association of Hong Kong (ASAHK)” at the Hong Kong Shue Yan University. Professor Stephan Feuchtwang, Emeritus Professor, Department of Anthropology, London School of Economics, delivered the keynote speech – “What have civilisation (wenming) and culture (wenhua) done to Chinese civilisation (hua)?” . More than 200 scholars participated at the conference.
