Abstract
The Department of Economics and Finance hosted the 11th Biennial Conference of Asian Consumer and Family Economics Association. The co-organisers include Department of Business Administration, Business, Economics and Public Policy Research Center and Sustainable Real Estate Research Center. There were 120 registered professors, post-graduate students, and practitioners came from 14 countries/regions (Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, USA, and Vietnam) participating in 21 concurrent Oral Presentation Sessions with 81 papers, 22 Poster Presentations, a Journal Editor Panel Session, and a Country Report Session. Additionally, four journals, including Journal of Financial Counseling and Planning (JFCP), International Journal of Revenue Management (IJRM), International Journal of Sustainable Real Estate and Construction Economics (IJSRECE), and Singapore Economic Review (SER) would offer opportunity for selected participants to publish their papers in the special issues. Keynote Speakers: Dr. Charles Yuji HORIOKA, Research Professor, Asian Growth Research Institute, Japan; and Dr. Euston QUAH, Professor and Head of Economics, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Also, a country report session was organised to share the key local economic issues.
