Abstract: There has been increasing adoption of remote teaching and learning among educators and learners due to the pandemics in recent years. Online learning platforms are essential for institutes to turn lab-based learning activities into online mode. This study aims to evaluate the students’ learning performance and perception of Katacoda, an interactive online skill-based training platform, for self-paced learning of containerized software development with Docker. The issues and challenges of the adoption of the platform will be discussed.
