Abstract: Gone are the days when face-to-face was the only means to share knowledge. The birth of Web 2.0 allowed both the internet users and website owners to share their knowledge rapidly. Inspite of all the advantages brought by these new technologies, not all the people in real estate and construction discipline use Web 2.0. This book chapter has two major objectives: (1) review the use of Web 2.0 technology for knowledge sharing, and (2) discuss the reasons for the resistance and the benefits.
