Abstract
In recent years, vocational education has become well-respected in the competitive world of work in Hong Kong. Drawing on relevant research literature and other documents, this paper considers the current nature, role, and significance of vocational education, with a particular focus on how vocational education promotes competitiveness in the young people of this region. Suggestions are then given for enhancing vocational education.
