清代才學小說是否構成一個小說類型

Abstract
現代意義上的中國古代小說研究已有上百年的歷史, 經過幾代學人的精耕細作, 在小說作者版本考證文體與類型的探討文本的解讀小說史的編纂小說理論的闡釋等方面都取得了令人矚目的成就.隨著新的文獻資料的發現, 新的理論和方法的引進以及新的科技手段的運用, 不但有新的學術領域和問題的出現, 已有的學術結論也需要重新審視.本專欄將陸續推出幾組論文, 對小說觀念、小說類型小說批評小說創作等問題進行深刻反思和深入探索.王齊洲教授的論文漢書·藝文志與隋書·經籍志小說觀念之比較探討了中國早期的小說觀念, 認為漢志和隋志雖不是文體分類, 其中卻有文體因子.二志都強調其所著錄的小說作品提供了民情風俗和百姓對政教的意見, 具有民間性通俗性瑣碎性特點, 但都沒有強調故事性和虛構性, 與現代小說觀念頗有差異.傅承洲教授的清代才學小說是否構成一個小說類型對當下流行的才學小說類型概念提出了異議, 認為從才學小說概念形成過程和小說類型構成要件的角度考察, 野叟曝言蟫史燕山外史和鏡花緣四部小說並不能構成一個小說類型.四部小說從內容到形式均不相同, 很難歸入一類.炫才是文人創作小說的一種非常普遍的現象, 不能成為小說類型的構成要件.幾位學者都對古代小說的一些重要問題提出了新的看法, 也許並不是定論, 但定會對古代小說研究者有所啟發, 對古代小說與小說批評的研究有所推進.
It is nearly one hundred years since we began to research fictions in ancient China in modern sense and great achievements have been made in many fields. However,we should re -examine some points with the appearances of new data,new theories and new methods. Wang Qi-zhou thinks that the early fictions in ancient China provide people's feelings,customs and opinions on politics and religions which are folk'popular and trivial,but they don't have characteristics of story and fiction,different from modern fictions. Fu Cheng -zhou thinks that talented -fiction does not belong to one genre,because in ancient China it was a popular thing that men of letters showed off their writing talents,and it is not the constituent of fiction. The papers published here give some new opinions and some revelations.
