Abstract
新修辭學派對體裁社會認知方面研究的最大優勢是充分考慮到體裁具有社會性與文化性的動態特徵更著重採用人種學和歷史學方法研究體裁其理論經過二十年的發展(1984－2004)已逐漸成為體裁研究的主流國內學界卻鮮有介紹.對體裁研究的三大學派重新歸類並重點對新修辭學派的社會認知體裁觀的發展歷程進行梳理客觀評價各階段的代表人物和主要思想以及跟踪其最新的研究發展趨勢.深入了解新修辭學派的體裁觀一方面可以避免陷入對體裁理論以點概全之曲解另一方面更有利於提高我們對專業語篇,學術語篇進行多維度,多視角的有效分析.
Through twenty years of development(1984-2004),the New Rhetoric scholars have acquired increasing prominence with their socio-cognitive approach towards genre research by taking full account of the social-cultural and dynamic quality of genre.The present paper attempts to give a critical review to the genre research of the New Rhetoric School by tracing its developmental route and major proponents together with their major works and latest academic endevours,with a view to providing a more comprehensive and unbiased understanding of the genre theory and to enhancing our manipulation of anlysing professional and academic discourse.
