Abstract
長期以來, 認知科學家從不同視角探討工作記憶的本質特徵和執行功能及其對人類各項高階認知活動的影響.工作記憶與母語習得和二語習得的研究逐漸成為一個新的熱點.首先,本文扼要介紹認知心理學界近年在工作記憶理論研究方面取得的進展,然後梳理有關工作記憶與母語,二語習得關係的理論探索及實證研究, 繼而提出一個以工作記憶為視角的"語音／ 執行"二語習得理論模型.最後,就如何進一步進行工作記憶與二語習得的研究提出設想與建議.
Recent years has witnessed unremitting research efforts by cognitive scientists to explore the nature,structure and executive functions of working memory and their impacts on high-level human cognitive activities.Meanwhile,the role of working memory in first and second language acquisi-tion(SLA) has also garnered increased attention.As such,the present paper sets out to summarize and report on major advances in working memory research in cognitive psychology,first language acquisition and SLA.Building on these multidisciplinary insights,the paper proposes an integrated framework for conceptualizing and measuring working memory in SLA research,which culminates in the ‘Phonological/Executive'(P/E) Model.Finally,the paper elaborates on the rationale,structure and basic tenets of the P/E model and highlights its empirical predictions as well as theoretical and methodological implications for future WM-SLA research.
