日本明治時代 (1868-1912), 日本學者編寫的漢文辭書多達190餘種, 而以玉篇命名的漢文字典有 53 種. 該類字典內容豐富,形式多樣. 這53種以玉篇命名的日本漢文字典, 內容包括版本作者體例 內容館藏等資訊.該批材料的版本目錄整理具有系統性和首示性.
Japanese scholars in the Meiji period ( 1868-1912) wrote and compiled 53 versions of Chinese dictionaries all titled “Yu Pian”. These dictionaries are informative in content and diverse in form. They are of great value for the study on the communication and development of Chinese characters. The author of this paper sorted out, for the first time, the “Yu Pian”dictionaries. The paper introduces all the 53 versions of Japanese Chinese dictionary titled “Yu Pian”, their authors, the systems, the contents, museum and library collections and so on.
