Abstract
The article presents an overview of rapid growth which has been seen in China and particularly in Hong Kong China's business logistics industry in 2008. The increase is the result of an increase in the number of multinational and transnational business enterprises that have moved their production operations to China to take advantage of the country's low cost labor and market potential. A discussion of research which has been conducted on business logistics in Hong Kong and mainland China is presented.
