Abstract
并州方言長調的主要音法特徵可以用“三長去昂”來概括,即三個長調,去聲昂調. 并州方言長調調型以降調為主,昂調次之. 近期的調類合併由陰平啟動,大部分點早期併入陽平,少部分點晚期併入上聲.合流後,平聲透過兩種可能的鏈移方式演化,由平調演化為純低調或降調.上聲由後凹調變為降調或低凹調. 文章也發現了一種新的互流 式調類合流演化過程.
Based on first-hand acoustic data collected from 32 localities of the dialect, this article explores the tonotypes and tonal evolution of the long tones in the Bingzhou(并州) dialect sub-group, Shanxi(山西) province. The phonological features that characterizing the dialect are three long tones, and Qusheng(去声) is a rising tone. In Bingzhou(并州) dialect falling tone is the most frequent tonotype, and rising tone is the second. The merger of tone categories in recent history started from Yinping(阴平) which merged into Yangping(阳平) in most localities, and later, into Shangsheng(上声) in some dialects. After merger, Pingsheng(平声), as a level tone, evolved into a Contour-Unspecified Low tone or, further, a falling tone through two possible chain shifts. Shangsheng(去声) evolved into a falling tone or a low dipping tone from a back-dipping tone. A new tonal evolutionary process, namely, Mutually-Approaching Merger, is also put forward in this article.
