Abstract
Do metaphors affect peoples’ actions? Can they influence the situation perception of managers and teachers, and their communication with their colleagues or pupils in their own occupational environment? These questions, concerning the action-regulative function of metaphor, can only be explored through empirical experiments. A series of our experimental psychological researches via World Wide Web have confirmed that metaphors do influence how people take actions.
