Abstract
An online survey was conducted to explore the relationship between parental selfefficacy, parental stress, coping strategies and perceived child behaviour among 87 Hong Kong adults who has at least one primary school child. The result showed parental selfefficacy, parental stress and perceived child behaviour were significantly correlated. Parental self-efficacy was found significantly correlated with problem-focused engagement, emotionfocused engagement and emotion-focused disengagement coping strategies. No significant associated between parental self-efficacy and problem-focused disengagement coping strategies were found. In addition, parental stress was found significantly associated with
parental stress.
