Abstract
The Department of Business Administration and SRS Consortium for Advanced Study in Cooperative Dynamic Games organised – “Seminar by SRS Consortium for Advanced Study in Cooperative Dynamic Games”. Professor John F. Nash Jr., an internationally renowned game theorist and winner of the 1994 Nobel Prize in Economics; Professor Leon Petrosyan, St Petersburg State University; and Professor David Yeung, Hong Kong Shue Yan University were the speakers of the seminar. In the seminar, Professor Nash shared his life and experiences in Princeton University as a graduate student and how John von Neumann and Oskar Morgenstern, founders of modern game theory, influenced him. Professor Petrosyan, on the other hand, gave an account of the developments in game theory in the former Soviet Union and the present day Russia. Professor Yeung concluded with experiences in recent developments in North America and Russia. The seminar was attended by over 900 persons, including the University staff, students and other visitors.
