The Contemporary China Research Centre organised a seminar – “Giant Pigs and Bling-Bling: The Uses of Technologies in Temple Festivals in Contemporary Taiwan”. Professor Adam Y. Chau, University Lecturer in the Anthropology of Modern China, Cambridge University was the speaker of the seminar. There were around 100 participants.
