The Department of Law and Business organised – “Forum on Child Law in Greater China”. A total of 11 renowned and respectable professors, experts and lawyers gathered at Hong Kong Shue Yan University to discuss and exchange views on topics relating to Child Protection in the context of Greater China.

Centre of Interdisciplinary Research in Evidence-Based Practice Training Workshop Series – Free talk on Applying Positive Neuroscience in Designing Evidence-Based Mental Health Practice. Speaker: Professor Keely Muscatell, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

The Department of Business Administration cooperated with Union of Macau Scholars, Association for Macau Historical and Cultural Heritage Protection, Embassy of the Russian Federation in People Republic of China and Consulate General in the Hong Kong SAR and Macau SAR, and Hong Kong Society of Asia & Pacific: AP2 to hold an academic conference – “Hong Kong – Macau & Sino-Russia Relationship Forum 2013″. Scholars and government officials shared different topics which are related to Sino-Russian relationship in the conference. There were around 20 participants.

The Department of Economics and Finance organised – “Economics Forum: RMB Exchange Rate and Inflation in Hong Kong”. Professor Leo F. Goodstadt, Adjunct professor in the School of Business Studies, Trinity College, University of Dublin. HKIMR Research Fellowships was the guest speaker.

“Centre of Interdisciplinary Research in Evidence Based Practice” Forum – “Synergy of Today’s Economy and the Rule of Law in the Practice of Modern Confucian Business”. The discussion is on the application of law in a Chinese business context, with speakers coming from different universities and associations. Speakers: Prof. Tang Fang-fang (Department of Economics, National School of Development, Peking University); Prof. Chow Kai-wing (Department of History, University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign); Dr. Lee Sze-kuen (Executive Director, Hong Kong Management Association); Mr. Yuen Chi-ping (Chairman of Hong Kong Young Chief Officers’ Association). Venue: Hong Kong Shue Yan University.

2017 年為五四運動後98週年，香港樹仁大學歷史學系與北京大學歷史學系為誌紀念，共同主辦 “五四運動史的回顧與展望論壇”。講者包括（排名先後以筆劃為序）： 王元周 （北京大學歷史學系 教授），李朝津 （香港樹仁大學歷史系 教授兼系主任）， 莫雲漢 （香港珠海學院中文系教授），黃克武 （中央研究院近代史研究所 特聘研究員）， 區志堅 （香港樹仁大學歷史系 助理教授〉，鄧昭祺 （香港珠海學院文學與社會科學院 院長），歐陽哲生 （北京大學歷史學系 教授）， 魏楚雄 （澳門大學歷史學系 教授）。

香港樹仁大學歷史學系與韓國東北亞歷史財團合辦「冷戰與東亞發展學術座談會：韓國、臺灣、香港學者的觀點」，在香港樹仁大學舉行。為推動韓國與香港學術文化交流，韓國東北亞歷史財團、首爾大學、延世大學及韓國國史館的學者，與香港樹仁大學歷史學系合辦是次學術座談會，主要邀請韓國、臺灣及香港學者從歷史文化的角度，發表有關冷戰在東亞的研究課題，並闡述近年三地學者對此課題的研究成果。

第五屆海峽兩岸暨港澳地區大學生公共治理與區域互動論壇。論壇於廣州中山大學舉行。6名香港樹仁大學學生參加，其他隊伍有台灣國立中山大學、澳門大學、北京師範大學及廣州中山大學，全程以普通話進行。最後，香港樹仁大學隊奪得團隊優異獎。隊員一年級生鄭鳴慧則奪得「創新觀點獎」殊榮。

第四屆兩岸四地大學生之”公共治理與區域互動”論壇 － 資訊及網絡時代的公共治理。論壇 於澳門舉行。6名香港樹仁大學學生參加，其他隊伍有澳門大學，廣州中山大學，及台灣國立中山大學，全程以普通話進行。最後，香港樹仁大學隊奪得團隊亞軍。隊員四年級生何丹則奪得全場最佳辯論員。
