Mission
- Since the return to the motherland, Hong Kong has experienced dramatic changes in political, economic, cultural and societal aspects. In addition, the “open door policy” and other policy reforms implemented by the PRC government have brought rapid changes in society. All these changes have substantial impacts on the development of various areas including economic situation, business environment and policy drafting and implementation. Under these circumstances, the research on economic, business and public policy is crucial for both academia and society.
- In light of the belief to combine research and application, we decided to establish this research centre to contribute society, provide policy recommendations and academic outputs through stringent and independent research methods including induction, analysis and research on business, economic and public policy, summarize the trajectory of changes, figure out and suggest the ways to solve the contradictions.
