This chapter first presents a review of established measures on wellness and holistic well-being, which is then followed by a discussion of the Body-Mind-Spirit Well-Being Inventory (BMSWBI) and the Holistic Well-Being Scale (HWS) as examples of multidimensional assessment of wellness. Both measures are developed based on the Integrative Body-Mind-Spirit (I-BMS) approach. This chapter also discusses the clinical application of both measures and the future direction of holistic well-being assessment.enToward the development of holistic wellness measurementsBook Chapter
