The experimental group engaged in a pilot learning strategy utilizing a XR distributed platform, while the control group experienced a traditional training format consisting of lectures and workshops within their organizations.</jats:p> </jats:sec> <jats:sec> <jats:title>Findings</jats:title> <jats:p>The results indicate that employees’ creative learning outcomes in XR environments surpass those achieved through traditional in-house training, particularly in the domain of creative idea development.</jats:p> </jats:sec> <jats:sec> <jats:title>Research limitations/implications</jats:title> <jats:p>The implementation of an XR distributed platform in creative organizational learning and communication yields positive outcomes.
