The theme of the conference – “Sociological Imagination in a Pluralist World”. Altogether 17 panels; 63 persons registered for paper presentation; finally 57 persons presented papers at the conference; 11 staff members of the Department of Sociology participated in the conference; 1 member of staff chaired a keynote speech; 4 members of staff acted as panel chairs; 6 members of staff presented papers. All 10 students of Hong Kong Shue Yan Univertisty Sociological Society attended the conference as student helpers.Conference
