If individuals fail to overcome that stress, then they will develop psychological problems. However, some people can maintain good quality life during adversity and overcome it finally. Researchers contribute the phenomena to resilience, which is referred to as the ability of an individual bouncing back from adverse conditions. The topic was well studied among the Westerner, but very few studies have been done in Chinese context. <br>Research Purpose: This study aims at revealing the resilience pathway and qualities of Chinese people, which can be used by Chinese therapists during counselling session. <br> Method: Current research adopts qualitative study design. Snowball sampling was used to recruit eight highly resilient disabled individuals. Data collection was done by in-depth interview. Finally, the data was analyzed by grounded theory. <br> Result: Current research revealed that the Chinese resilience is constructed by 5"F": "Fortitude", "Family", "Fate", "Face" and "Fusion", while the resilience pathway includes 3"A": "Abide", "Adapt" and "Accept".<br> Conclusion: The Model of Resilience of Chinese People is developed based on the result. It can be used by Chinese therapists for counseling.
