2025-07-142025-07-14http://hdl.handle.net/20.500.11861/11236Established in the 2016 academic year, Social Research Centre (SRC) is an expansion of the original <span class="blue"><a href="http://www.hksyu.edu/sociology/cqsr/" target="_blank"><u>Centre for Qualitative Social Research (CQSR)</u></a></span> to include a survey component, in order to cover both qualitative and quantitative types of research.&nbsp;It will serve to</p> <ol> <li>facilitate and coordinate research projects of faculty members as well as students;</li> <li>be a training station for students specializing in social research to have hands-on training in all stages of social research (from research design, data collection, data entry, data analysis and report preparation);</li> <li>organize visits of scholars, seminars and conferences, exchange with local and overseas institutions, and other academic and research activities.</li> </ol><br> SRC will be instrumental in promoting the research culture and capacity of the department &nbsp;and strengthening research training for students.
